The TEOR/ética is the result of an enthusiastic initiative that tries to divulge the different points of view on contemporary art. Some of the initiatives to be emphasised are its researches, the different technique dissemination and the contemporary projects.

This museum was made thanks to donations and exchanges from various artists, which have made the museum's collections very diverse, in where you can find works with varied aesthetics. Amongst its collections, the curatorial exhibitions stand out.
The TEOR/ética museum is an active one in which there are ongoing events such as talk sessions, workshops, seminars and theory events. Besides, the museum has become a research centre for artists from the different artistic fields.
Without doubt, has become a meeting place for artists and those people that are interested in taking pleasure with the most modern art of San José.
