Costa Rica has amazing zoos, where you will meet all the animal life of this Central American country.

Simón Bolívar Animal Park and Botanical Garden is one of the most famous and visited parks in the country. This zoo, located in the city of San José, is the oldest one in Costa Rica and has more than three hundred animal species (mammals, reptiles, birds and fishes). There are also some activities programmed every day so that children will enjoy their time while learning.

El Mundo de las Serpientes Park is located in Alajuela. In this incredible zoo, which is specialized in reptiles, you will be able to look closely to crocodiles, all kinds of snakes, lizards and different species of amphibians.

The Butterfly Park of Cachuita is also an attractive and amazing place, although it is very different from the others. Its enchanting atmosphere will give you the chance to walk around thousands of butterflies and meet different types of frogs and bees.
