Casa de la Cultura (Culture House) of Heredia is located at the former residence of president Alfredo González Flore. This building was declared as a national monument and has been recently remodeled.
Apart from being a meeting and production spot for local artists, a space for the community’s social organisation, and the place where the local organisations carry out their meetings, it also houses historic collections, temporary arts and crafts exhibitions, workshops, live music performances, plays, tale-telling, and poetry.
