Puerto Viejo de Talamanca located in Costa Rica is not included in all-inclusive resorts as it is a little and peculiar region in Costa Rica’s Caribbean shore which is free of adventurous and beach tourists. However, once there, you can find little and friendly hotels.

Its atmosphere is warm and familiar where Afro-Caribbean and Jamaican nuances turn it into an unique place.

As surf is very popular in Puerto Viejo, you can enjoy your favourite sport while surfing one of the most incredible waves: Salsa Brava wave.

Even if you do not like surf, you can enjoy this place too as there are located four fantastic beaches where you can get relaxed and disconnect from work in one of the quietest areas in Costa Rica. Moreover, you can ride a horse through its white sandy beaches, practise snorkeling and diving into its crystal-clear waters, go mountain biking, kayaking or boogie boarding. Definitely, there is a wide leisure offer to enjoy and discover in an absolutely incredible territory.  

There are a few bars where you can listen to calypso and reggae which are some of the wonders you can enjoy in Puerto Viejo, an unforgettable place.
