Playa Naranjo (Naranjo Beach) is an ecological model for Guanacaste’s locals which is located in Santa Rosa National Park. This beach is a protected area and constructions there are not allowed, so you can enjoy the expected quietness of a place where there are no hotels, shops or restaurants. This calmness and loneliness give to Playa Naranjo a special charm and make it possible to offer the visitors the chance to be surrounded by lush nature.

The waters of Playa Naranjo come from the Papagayo’s Gulf, which is well-known for its high water quality and its incredible waves. The beach is also characterized by its fine sand and rugged rocks.

There is a village located near this beach, where you can practice a vast number of activities and visit places like Alcatraz Island or San Lucas Island. However, you must take into account that people can only access the beach by boat or ferry.
