Playa Espadilla goes from Punta Quepos to Punta Catedral, forming an arch that is divided into two parts by an estuary, which are Espadilla Norte Beach, with free access, and Espadilla Sur Beach, which belongs to one of the most amazing parks in the world, the Manuel Antonio National Park; that is why, to access this last beach you have to pay the entry ticket to the park.

Espadilla Sur Beach goes from the estuary where the rock formation known as Roca Tortuga is located, to Punta Catedral, a diamond-shaped rock that separates it from Manuel Antonio Beach. This beach has more inclination than that of the north and, as it is located in the protected area of the park, you can access to a small swamp of mangroves and a wooded plain in the back side of the beach, making you able to enjoy the exceptional flora and fauna that inhabit the park.

Espadilla Norte Beach goes from Punta Quepos to the previously mentioned estuary. It is the longest and straightest of the two beaches that form Espadilla Beach, in front of where Manuel Antonio town is located. This beautiful beach is open to the public, so that you do not have to pay entry ticket to the park to enjoy its wonderful landscapes.

Enjoy a marvelous day in these quiet beaches of warm waters, where you can practice many water activities, such as surf lessons, renting a catamaran, or going in a banana boat that will give you a bumpy ride near the coast to make your experience as fun as possible.
