Playa Bejuco is located in the Parrita canton, between the East Esterillos and Palma beaches, which belong to the Puntarenas province, in Costa Rica. Besides, it is very close to relevant tourist destinations in Puntarenas; for instance, it is 35 km from Manuel Antonio and 30 km from Jacó.
Bejuco Beach has been given the Ecological Blue Flag status due to its utmost cleanliness and good condition. This beautiful beach of dark sand is relevant for being the place where many bird species make their nests, surrounded by crop fields where intensive agriculture takes place.
If you want to enjoy a calm beach day in one of the most dreamed tropical landscapes, Playa Bejuco is the perfect place for you, since you will not find a high number of tourists. Even if you prefer some action, you can also have fun practicing some water sports, like surfing, windsurfing and snorkeling, or, on the contrary, you can just relax while going on horseback along the shore.
