Offering panoramic view over the national park, the eco-adventure Rara Avis Rainforest Lodge offers accommodation in Sarapiquí. The property is deep in the rain forest with 495 private hectares and 24 km of hiking trails, 3 hours away by tractor ride or horseback ride and 1 hour walk. A private bathroom is offered. Towels are available. Guests can enjoy the on-site restaurant offering typical Costa Rican cuisine. Free private parking is available on site. The lodge is 15 kilometers (10 mi.) southwest, deep in the rainforest of Braulio Carrillo National Park approximately 3 hours away by tractor ride. The nearest airport is Juan Santamaría International Airport just 54 km from the property.
