The Manuel Antonio National Park is one of the most spectacular parks in the world, having been ranked 12 amongst the most beautiful parks in the world in the magazine Forbes. This park is located in Quepos city, in the Puntarenas Province, in the Pacific coast of Costa Rica, becoming a typical tourist attraction of the city.

It has a wide terrestrial and marine biodiversity, like coral reefs, white-sand beaches that connect with magnificent forests and rainforests and big mountains surrounded by foliage, which makes of this park an essential tourist destination.

Discover the wonders hidden in this park and get in contact with its wide variety of exotic animals. It should be kept in mind that feeding these animals is strictly forbidden, as this would affect their regular diet and, consequently, their health. The main aims of the Manuel Antonio National Park are to preserve its nature, present in all its protected landscapes, and the protection of numerous endangered species of flora and fauna.

Thanks to its tropical climate and its scenic beauty, a myriad of national and international tourists visit this privileged park every day. That is why, recently, some appropriate facilities have been built in order to make the access easier for visitors, such as a visitors center, a ranger station, viewpoints, resting areas and supporting infrastructures. It has also been implemented the “Plan Maestro de Senderos” (‘Trail Master Plan’), which incorporates paths to make easier to the public the access to Punta Catedral, the waterfall, the viewpointEspadilla Beach and Manuel Antonio Beach, amongst many other points of interest, making of this visit an essential experience.
