The Golfo Dulce Forest Reserve, located in the Puntarenas province, has one of the wettest weathers in the world, which has created one of the tallest and oldest groves in the planet. In this reserve, you will be amazed by its trees, which are up to 43 m high.

Among its characteristics, its great biodiversity stands out There, you can find an endless number of different wild animal species, such as capuchins, anteaters, jaguars and coatis, among others. Moreover, a great diversity of birds, which have transformed the reserve into their home, inhabits here. Nowadays, they have become an attraction for ornithological studies.

The Golfo Dulce Forest Reserve has a privileged position, since its surroundings hold parks of great biological value thanks to their extensive forests, like the Piedras Blancas National Park and the Corcovado National Park. Besides, this spectacular reserve is bathed by a huge variety of fantastic beaches that located in the Golfo Dulce Gulf.
