Golfito Wildlife Refuge is located in the south of the Puntarenas province, in the coastal area of South Pacific, in Costa Rica. This refuge has incredible facilities where you will enjoy very varied landscapes thanks to its diverse fauna and flora. Amid its motley flora, you can find areas of primary forest and riparian forest, among many others.

This refuge has a privileged position, since it was created with the aim of safeguarding the integrity of the city’s waters. Thanks to this, together with its huge diversity of wild animals, one of the most beautiful areas in Costa Rica was created.

In its surroundings, several parks of great biological weight are found, such as the Piedras Blancas National Park and the Golfo Dulce Forest Reserve. Both are notorious for their incredible natural heritage, where you can enjoy a really wild experience.

In short, the Golfito Wildlife Refuge is one of the most beautiful areas in Costa Rica that you cannot miss during your visit to the Central American country.
