Manzanillo is a little fishermen’s village located in Costa Rica’s Caribbean coast east end, an incredible and ideal place to get relaxed, enjoy excellent food and have a bath in its white sandy turquoise water beaches.

Four hours far by car from San José and close to Cahuita National Park, this small village is located in Gandoca-Manzanillo Wildlife Shelter, where you will find an unique environment.

Although, it is presented as a place where tourists arrival is not as important as in other country regions, Manzanillo hides some surprises that will let you agape.  

Under its less deep waters, Manzanillo hides a beautiful coral reef where you can practise a wide range of aquatic sports such as snorkel or diving, allowing tourists to enjoy this natural submarine wonder.

Furthermore, as in Manzanillo ends up the coastal road, some trails start at the end of the village that go into the spectacular rainforest. Therefore, you can enjoy its unspoilt nature and discover the most spectacular greenery in the world.

Also, in Manzanillo, you can taste the best seafood of the country as there are lots of amazing dishes where fish, seafood and other fruits of the sea are a perfect combination that will let your mouth watering down.
